Salma Hayek is truly one of the world’s most beautiful women, both inside and out. She is a ultra-talented actress and business woman that is truly taken the world by storm. She was born in Mexico on September 2, 1966 to a wealthy Lebenese-Mexican father and her Mexican mother, who is an opera singer. After attending Mexico City’s Universidad Iberoamerican she sought out to pursue a career in acting. She soon landed a role that thrust her into the spotlight. As the lead role in the popular Mexican soap “Teresa” she gained much exposure and critical acclaim. Eager to begin a movie career she left Mexico in 1991 for Hollywood. At first she landed only bit parts until landingher breakthrough role in Desperado, starring Antonio Banderas and directed by Robert Rodriguez. The rest is history.
Salma Hayek has now risen to the upper levels of stardom and is one of Hollywood’s most bankable actresses.
